Becoming a Patient
These questions cover practical logistics for new patients — what happens on the first visit, what to bring, and how the process unfolds after that.
First visit and process
- What happens at the first visit? The first contact is a free 15-minute phone or 25-minute in-person consultation focused on your story, history, and goals. A comprehensive evaluation is scheduled separately, once we agree the case is a fit.
- What should I bring to the first visit?Bring your ID and insurance information, a list of medications and supplements, and any prior records — imaging, reports, testing, or provider notes — that relate to your case.
- Do I need a referral? No. You can schedule directly. If you have been referred by another provider or have prior records, bringing them along makes the evaluation more efficient.
